Patrick Reed

atrick Reed has been serving our community for the past four years as a member of the Amity Board of Education, with leadership roles as the Chair of the Facilities Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board. He and his wife, Dr. Anamika Reed, have 12-year-old twin daughters who are sixth graders at Beecher Road School and will enter Amity Middle School in the fall.  

Professionally, Patrick is a school psychologist with 17 years of experience. This provides him with a deep understanding of the educational landscape, the strengths and weaknesses of our schools, and the needs of our students.

During his tenure on the board, Patrick has consistently advocated for policies that prioritize the well-being and academic success of our students. He believes every child deserves access to a high-quality education and has worked tirelessly to ensure that our district provides just that. He has been part of a team that has made significant improvements in our schools, from enhancing curriculum to supporting teachers and staff.

If re-elected, Patrick is committed to continuing the pursuit of excellence in education and working to ensure that our schools remain safe, inclusive, and conducive to learning. He will continue to advocate for responsible budgeting to make the most of our resources and provide the best opportunities for our students.
