The First Church of Christ in Woodbridge is hosting their 67th Annual Strawberry Festival on Friday, June 7th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Scout Troop 907 will be grilling up hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and even veggie burgers!

The Woodbridge Earth Day Celebration 2024 will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 10am to 5pm in the center of town. This event, hosted by the Woodbridge Ad Hoc Sustainability Committee and the Woodbridge Town Library, promises a variety of activities and attractions for all ages.


Eric Chen, a Beecher graduate and 8th grader at Amity Middle School Bethany, won first place in the Junior Paper category in the National History Day Contest New Haven Regional Contest on March 23rd. He will advance to the Connecticut Contest on May 5th. He also won two awards in the 2024 Scholastic


On Saturday, March 16th at 3:00 p.m. the Woodbridge First Church of Christ will be hosting a concert in their Sanctuary, 5 Meetinghouse Lane, Woodbridge, featuring Music Director Nenad Ivović on piano and Ethan Brown on cello. Woodbridge has amazing talent when it comes to Robotics. This year, three teams from our town participated in the First Lego League Robotics competition: Team Bricasso, the Democracy Dragons, and Determined.


Amity performing arts students had the chance to rub shoulders with a bit of Broadway glamor recently, when Erika Henningsen and Kyle Selig – both actors from the original cast of Mean Girls the Musical - visited the school to present a workshop in the school’s Black Box Theater.
