BEKI’s annual pizza party in the sukkah will be Sunday Oct. 12, featuring vegetarian pizza prepared by BEKI volunteer chefs. The menu also includes salad, beverages, and dessert. If you request them, non-dairy and gluten free pies will be available. In case of rain, the event will move inside.

Woodwind Quintet Concert

Elm City Winds, a woodwind quintet that performs both classical and popular music, will return to BEKI for an indoor concert on Sunday, Oct. 26. Jennifer Silva, flute; Caesar Storlazzi, oboe; Melanie Lahti, clarinet; Adrienne Gallagher, bassoon; and Emily Fine, French horn, will present a concert entitled “Autumn Serenade.”

This program will include a variety of classical and popular music as well as introductions to the pieces, giving historical and musical context to the works they have selected.

Admission is free. Donations will be accepted to support World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization founded by Chef José Andres, which provides fresh, nourishing meals to communities in need during humanitarian crises and natural disaster.
