Smiling centenarian Anne Caiafa, known as "Naunie," uses a walker in her cozy living room. Celebrating her 100th birthday on April 12th, 1925, Anne's joyful spirit shines as she enjoys time at The Willows, surrounded by the love of her large family.

On Saturday April 12th, Anne Caiafa turned 100 years old!

Anne, commonly referred to by family as “Naunie”, is known for her larger than life, energetic personality.

Anne was born on Easter Sunday, April 12, 1925.  She was 1 of 4 children.  Her siblings were Angela, Hilda and Rudolph Brunetti.  She worked as an Italian interpreter at New Haven Savings Bank during and post WW2.  While working at the bank, she met her mother-in-law who insisted she meet her son, Dominic.  Clearly, the intro went well!!  Anne and Dominic had 3 sons, Dominic, Michael, and Anthony.  Anne moved into The Willows in November 2024 and is loved by the staff and residents!

She has 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Anne is kind to anyone she meets.  She loves being with family and loves any chance to talk about her sons.

Here’s to 100 more!
