William Boyle, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 721 (Milford), was presented with the rank of Eagle Scout during a special Court of Honor ceremony held at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish Hall, 81 Center Road, Woodbridge, CT on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

The ceremony celebrated William’s years of dedication to Scouting, including earning 27 merit badges, demonstrating leadership within the troop, and completing a meaningful Eagle Scout service project that benefited the food pantry at Our Lady of the Assumption. William led a team of scouts to build new shelving units to help better organize the food donations they receive.

Attendees included family, friends, Troop 721 leaders and scouts, dignitaries, and community members. Highlights included the traditional Eagle Charge, mentor pin presentations, remarks from Scoutmaster Conlan Rose and special guests, and a reflection from William on his Scouting journey. He expressed deep gratitude to his parents, leaders, mentors, and supporters who helped him reach this milestone.

Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Scouting, achieved by only about 4–6% of all Scouts. It requires years of commitment to the Scout Oath and Law, skill development, and service to others.

Troop 721 congratulated William on this significant accomplishment.
