Orange Cheese Company Named Exporter of the Year by U.S. Dairy Export Council
Orange Cheese Company, a Connecticut-based dairy exporter, has been named Exporter of the Year by the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC), recognizing the company’s leadership in expanding U.S. cheese exports across Asia.
Orange Cheese Company currently supplies U.S. cheese to 11 countries across Asia and is actively expanding into new markets, including the Middle East. The company plays a key role in connecting American cheesemakers with international buyers, adapting U.S. dairy products to meet local tastes, formats, and performance needs.

Orange Cheese Company works closely with both U.S. producers and international customers to support successful market entry and long-term growth. In one example, the company helped a Wisconsin cheesemaker expand into Asia by identifying the right product formats and supporting in-market launches. In another, Orange Cheese partnered with U.S. producers to develop a cheese solution tailored for a major Asian pizza chain, meeting demanding performance requirements for high-heat commercial kitchens.
Beyond product development, Orange Cheese Company manages end-to-end export logistics, including temperature-controlled shipping, customs coordination, and supply chain visibility. The company has also demonstrated resilience in navigating complex global trade challenges, maintaining consistent supply to key markets despite ongoing tariff volatility.
The U.S. Dairy Export Council represents the global trade interests of U.S. dairy producers, processors, and cooperatives, working to expand international demand for U.S. dairy products.
