This year we are pleased to announce to following students who have received the SCASA Student Recognition Award for 2024.
In the photo from Left to Right: Principal Dr. Jason Tracy, Jacob Klee, Junia Croasmun and Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Byars.
The award is based on: Community service and service to others; Academic prowess (relative to ability); and Leadership to the school community. The Superintendent Award-Student Award Program is designed to allow superintendents to move beyond the academic achiever who routinely receives recognition and to use their discretion and understanding of students to reach a wider spectrum, not often – or perhaps never considered as starts. Recipients might include students with disabilities, vocation, or alternative school students.
This is an opinion not necessarily endorsed by the Woodbridge Town News.
