SCASA Student Recognition Award - Amity Regional High School

This year we are pleased to announce to following students who have received the SCASA Student Recognition Award for 2024.

In the photo from Left to Right: Principal Andre Hauser, Daniel Mowerman, Sophia Messina, and Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Byars.

The award is based on: Community service and service to others; Academic prowess (relative to ability); and Leadership to the school community. The Superintendent Award-Student Award Program is designed to allow superintendents to move beyond the academic achiever who routinely receives recognition and to use their discretion and understanding of students to reach a wider spectrum, not often – or perhaps never considered as starts.  Recipients might include students with disabilities, vocation, or alternative school students.

This is an opinion not necessarily endorsed by the Woodbridge Town News.
