Woodbridge Education Association Scholarship Announcement

The Woodbridge Education Association will be rewarding three $500 scholarships to deserving Amity High School seniors. The applicants must also have attended Beecher Road School. The scholarship committee is looking for students who embody the spirit and values of Beecher Road School. The application encourages creativity and originality.

Winners will be honored at the Amity High School Awards Night.

Woodbridge Education Association (WEA) Scholarships Description:

Education, Music or Technology Scholariship in honor of Rick Wood: 

$500

Awarded to a graduating Amity senior who attended Beecher Road School and is planning on attending secondary education to pursue a career in education, music or technology.  The scholarship will be awarded based on criteria exhibited within the application and overall embodiment of the spirit of BRS

‍Global Citizen Scholarship in honor of Kevin Kucinskas: 

$500

Awarded to a graduating Amity senior who attended Beecher Road School and who is planning on attending secondary education in the fall.  This award is based on a desire to be involved in the global community, whether that be through global issues, the environment, education, activism, or any other endeavors. The scholarship will be awarded based on criteria exhibited within the application and overall embodiment of the spirit of BRS.  ‍

Future Educator and Community Service Scholarship in honor of Ann D’Addio: 

$500

Awarded to a graduating Amity senior who attended Beecher Road School and is planning on attending secondary education to pursue a career in teaching. This award is based on scholarship and community service.  The scholarship will be awarded based on criteria exhibited within the application and overall embodiment of the spirit of BRS.  ‍
