Amity Regional School District #5, as per state guidelines, is properly disposing of student special education records. The records of any student who has received special services are maintained for six years after their class graduates. Former Amity students who were born between 2001 -2003
In honor of Earth Day, Woodbridge residents have a simple opportunity to make a meaningful impact: recycle old mattresses and box springs at the town transfer station through April.
The Garden Club of Woodbridge has announced its upcoming plant sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 30. The event will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM in the Grove located outside of the Woodbridge Town Library at 10 Newton Road.

On Saturday, October 28, Maharat Rori Picker Neiss will speak at BEKI as part of the weekend Kallah. Her topic is “But My Ineffable Name I Did Not Make Known,” asking what this name is, what it signifies, and what is it to “know” God.

Lindsey Deleo, from Woodbridge, CT, has earned a spot on the Goodwin University Dean’s List and Goodwin University’s President’s List for Summer 2023. Dean’s List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session.


Congratulations to our 8U Beth-Wood All-Star Team. They finished their regular season with an impressive 7-1 record. Some of the most memorable wins were against Norwalk, Oxford, and a last inning come from behind win against Newtown B. We wish them luck as they develop into great ballplayers.

The most recent issue of the Woodbridge Town News included a letter from Mr. Michael Burns about people driving too fast on Newton Road. He is correct; I have observed cars crossing the center yellow lines to pass me on this road, even when I was driving at the posted speed.

On September 12 the weather was perfect for the first meeting of the Garden Club of Woodbridge 2023/2024 season. A member’s lawn, leading to spectacular rolling hills, was the meeting location. Members eager to catch up with each other after the summer hiatus enjoyed delicious tea sandwiches
