The Human Services Department has planned 5 vaccine clinics this fall. All clinics require an appointment; please call 203-389-3429 to schedule. The four remaining clinics will be held at the Center Building gymnasium. There will be flu vaccine-only clinics on October 2


Stop by The Center between the hours of 9 am – 4 pm and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea at no charge. Sponsorship for the month of October is provided by the Woodbridge Republican Town Committee.


The Road Race & Fun Run will take place on Saturday, September 30. The Fun Run starts at 9:00am and the 5K begins at 10:30am. Please visit the 5K road race runsignup.com website to register. For Fun Run registration, please visit the Recreation Registration Website.


A two-day class for youth, ages 9-12, will be held on Thursdays, October 19 & 26 from 4:00-5:00 pm in Room 16 in the Woodbridge Center Building at 4 Meetinghouse Lane. Students learn about answering the door and phone, emergencies, calling 911, healthy snacks, and internet safety.

The ad hoc Woodbridge Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will hold its 3rd Annual Woodbridge Like Me Day on Saturday, September 30 from 11 am - 2 pm on the Town Center Green. Rain location is Amity High School, 25 Newton Road. This free community event will follow the Annual 5k Road Race

Fall is packed with new beginnings. It is the start of the new school year, filled with our children’s excitement for fresh learning, old and new friends, and many adventures. It is the time of the Jewish New Year, with calls for renewal and prayers for peace and good deeds in the coming year.


Each year I hold onto the lovely final summer days for the last few weeks before fall and winter. Let us try to take time to enjoy these final weeks of summer. Soon Woodbridge will be transformed once again into the beautiful colors of autumn.
