Quilts on Show: A Patchwork of Our Community

Attention Quilters, and Fabric Makers!  If you do Patchwork, Crazy Quilts, Tifaifai, Sashiko, Applique, Mola, Shisha, Paper Piecing, Seminole Patchwork, Art Quilts, or other fabric design, these exhibit opportunities are for you!

The Amity Woodbridge Historical Society invites your applications to “Quilts on Show:  A Patchwork of Our Community.”  Smaller quilts (up to 60” in width) will be on display in the Community Gallery at the Woodbridge Library throughout the month of August.  An Outdoor Pop-Up Show for large and small quilts will be held the weekend of September 9-10 on the grounds of the Darling House Museum in Woodbridge.  Please consider sharing your work in one – or both – of these free, non-juried shows.  Applications are available at the Woodbridge Town Library or send a request for application to anne.flitcraft@gmail.com.

And please come to the featured trunk show-lectures to be held at the Woodbridge Library:

Christina Blais, an award-winning fabric artist:  Not your Granma’s Quilts - A Quilter’s Journey from Traditional to Art Quilts on Wednesday, August 2nd at 6:30 and Willow Ann Sirch, author and curator:  Quilting the World Over on Saturday, August 19th at 3 PM.
