Congregation B’nai Jacob will host its 5th annual Gospel Shabbat Community Service on Friday, January 16, 2026. The service begins at 6:30 p.m. at the synagogue, located at 75 Rimmon Road in Woodbridge.
The Town of Woodbridge formally welcomed its newly elected officials at a Swearing-In Ceremony held Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Woodbridge Center Cafe.

Dean College is pleased to announce that Catherine Thomas of Woodbridge has earned a place on the Dean’s List for the Fall 2023 semester. Students named to the Dean’s List have demonstrated a serious commitment to their studies while at Dean College.


Here in Woodbridge, education is revered. Some recent internet searching suggests our town has, over time, been thought to be amongst those most educated in Connecticut given the high number of bachelor and professional degrees held by our residents.


Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA): Tuesdays, 9 am - 1 pm. VITA is a free tax preparation service available to individuals who are income qualifying, to people who have a disability, and to those who speak limited English. The program will begin February 6 and run through April 11.

The goal of balancing Town needs with taxpayer affordability is a challenging one. In my view, one of the requirements of being a member of the Orange Board of Finance (OBOF) is to inform the public. In fact, I consider this an obligation of this elected position.

On October 3, the Garden Club of Woodbridge hosted the Garden Club of Orange. Members of both clubs were excited to meet guest speaker, Tovah Martin. Tovah’s presentation, “Terrariums and You,” showcased terrariums she had made. She generated several terrariums for the audience using her favorite
