Gabriella “Gabi” Durso is doing something very few young athletes ever accomplish—earning national recognition not once, but twice. The 13-year-old Woodbridge resident has been named a USA Softball All-American for the Northeast Region for the second consecutive year.
On Tuesday, April 21st, the Amity Chamber of Commerce will launch the legal seminar program, "Breakfast & Briefs." The program will be presented by Amity Chamber member Zabel Schellenberg Attorneys at Law, and led by two of the firm's partners, Owen Weaver and Courtney George.
The Town of Woodbridge was proud to welcome a special guest to Town Hall this week as a local fifth-grade student stepped into the role of First Selectman for the Day, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at local government and making meaningful contributions of her own.

Michael Dow MSPT/CEO of Amity Physical Therapy was just awarded the 2024 Silver Pioneer Outstanding Alumni designation. Dow graduated from Sacred Heart 25 years ago, and the award recognizes “an alumnus who has reached a 25th milestone reunion year and whose life has been exemplary.”


Junior Girl Scout Troop 60865, based at Beecher Road School, has successfully completed their Bronze Award project, a significant achievement that demonstrates their commitment to community service. The troop's project involved creating a Calm Space for the 5th and 6th grade students at the school.
