Obituary: Patricia Ann Cooper

Patricia Ann Cooper, age 81, beloved wife of Wesley S. Cooper of Bethany, died peacefully on June 7, 2022 at Griffin Hospital with her family by her side.  Born in Bridgeport on November 14, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve Sojka Kubik.  Mrs. Cooper was a longtime resident of Bethany and worked for many years as a private duty, licensed practical nurse.  In addition to her husband, she will be greatly missed by her devoted daughters, Robin McLaughlin, Dawn (Mike) Bethke, and Christy (Phil) Maiorano; a brother Joseph Kubik, a sister, Sharon Chormanski; six cherished grandchildren, Amy Cooper, Philip Cooper, William McLaughlin, Jennifer Cooper, Philip Maiorano and Mak Bethke; three cherished great-grandchildren, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 12:30 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  Interment will be private.  Family and friends may call on Saturday morning from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, prior to the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
