For the month of June, the meeting room will host artwork & writing created by Sixth Graders from Beecher Road School reflecting on their study of enslavement in 18th century Connecticut in a unit created by the Witness Stones Project.


The Amity and Woodbridge Historical Society is honoring Chloe and Timothy Anthony, who were enslaved and also manumitted by the Darling Family. This Witness Stones event will be a town-wide commemoration honoring Chloe and Timothy at the museum, which was the site of their enslavement.


Scouts from Troop 41 are preparing for their 2026 annual Neighborhood Food Drive. This community-wide event aims to collect non-perishable food items to benefit the Town of Orange Food Bank and the New Haven Food Pantry.


Halfway Home Rescue, Inc. has announced its first-ever Quarter Auction fundraiser, scheduled for Friday, June 19. The event will take place at Veteran’s Lodge, located at 265 Beacon Road in Bethany, beginning at 6:00 p.m.


The Amity and Woodbridge Historical Society has announced its upcoming Annual Meeting, featuring a presentation titled "Rediscovering the world of Chloe and Timothy." The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3 PM.


In honor of Earth Day, Woodbridge residents have a simple opportunity to make a meaningful impact: recycle old mattresses and box springs at the town transfer station through April.


The Garden Club of Woodbridge has announced its upcoming plant sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 30. The event will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM in the Grove located outside of the Woodbridge Town Library at 10 Newton Road.


Please join the Amity and Woodbridge Historical Society for an afternoon tea at the lovely historic Darling Farmstead and History Museum. We will be joined by a revolutionary war "soldier" who will share stories and anecdotes about life during this challenging time in our history.


William Boyle, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 721 (Milford), was presented with the rank of Eagle Scout during a special Court of Honor ceremony held at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish Hall, 81 Center Road, Woodbridge, CT on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM.


The Amity & Woodbridge Historical Society has announced its upcoming spring open house, titled "Breakfast in the Time of Revolution." The event is scheduled to take place on March 29th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Historic Darling Farmstead and History Museum, located at 1907 Litchfield Turnpike.
