The Town of Woodbridge celebrated the opening of the new Woodbridge Community & Cultural Center on Saturday, October 10, welcoming residents, families, and special guests to explore the newly renovated Old Firehouse at 4 Newton Road.

The Amity Chamber of Commerce will present “Conversations with Candidates," on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott, 136 Marsh Hill Road, Orange. The program is free, with check-in and seating at 6:15 p.m.; the program starts at 6:45 p.m. The program is not a debate.

Orange Police Detective Denny Peterson and Woodbridge Sergeant Michael Blume will be honored at the Amity Chamber of Commerce Community Awards and Annual Meeting as each town’s Police Officer of the Year.
