In an effort to stem the tide of teachers leaving the district and to support teacher retention, the Amity Board of Education and the Teachers Union have agreed to an unprecedented 13.5% salary increase spread over the next three school years.

After winning the Northern Connecticut Pop Warner and New Egland Regional Championships, the 21 players from Woodbridge, Bethany, and Orange are heading to the Pop Warner Super Bowl Nationals being held December 2-8, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.


Amity Youth Lacrosse has opened registration for our 2024 Winter Clinic and 2024 Spring Season. The mission of Amity Youth Lacrosse is to develop an understanding of the sport of lacrosse and promote physical fitness and a sense of pride through teamwork, team spirit, strong sportsmanship


All are welcome to attend our Christmas Eve services on Sunday, December 24th, at 10:30am and 5:00pm! Our morning service will offer nursery care and Children’s Church available for babies through 6th grade. Our evening service will be a family-friendly service and include a children’s book

Balance is a complex thing in life, but in the body it takes on a whole different meaning. Internally, we have to balance our heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol, breathing, and digestion. The most critical thing to balance our body functionally is something most people don’t even sense.

Kennedy once said, “We must find the time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.”On November 7th, the Town of Woodbridge participated in a very important, and consequential election.


The Thanksgiving holiday is a time to come together to acknowledge and celebrate all that is good in our lives. I had that feeling of gratitude as I and so many others said hello to our friends and neighbors on both sides of the aisle who came out to vote in our first-ever November municipal


Woodbridge voters came out in large numbers on Election Day and I, together with my fellow Row B candidates, want to thank the Registrars of Voters and support staff who conducted the day so seamlessly. Some people turn to memoir writing to leave a legacy for their children and grandchildren, to tell them about how things once were when they were young. But Woodbridge resident Penny Perloff, 89, weaves her memories growing up on a northern Connecticut farm into stories for her grandchildren


More than half of the town’s 6,079 registered voters turned out on November 7 to vote in the most recent municipal election, with a strong showing for local Democrats. “I was so impressed with our community and the overall turnout,” said First Selectman-elect Mica Cadozo in a conversation after the
