Gabriella “Gabi” Durso is doing something very few young athletes ever accomplish—earning national recognition not once, but twice. The 13-year-old Woodbridge resident has been named a USA Softball All-American for the Northeast Region for the second consecutive year.
On Tuesday, April 21st, the Amity Chamber of Commerce will launch the legal seminar program, "Breakfast & Briefs." The program will be presented by Amity Chamber member Zabel Schellenberg Attorneys at Law, and led by two of the firm's partners, Owen Weaver and Courtney George.
The Town of Woodbridge was proud to welcome a special guest to Town Hall this week as a local fifth-grade student stepped into the role of First Selectman for the Day, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at local government and making meaningful contributions of her own.

Summer Concerts will be held on Tuesday evenings in July, from 6 to 8 pm, at Woodbridge Town Green. The first concert will be held on Wednesday, July 5th due to the July 4th holiday. July 5 will be the Lamar Peters – Elvis Presley tribute show. July 11 features Jukebox 45 Show Band – CT’s premier


The Job Bank in Woodbridge offers occasional jobs to teen residents (ages 13 – 18) who would like to work for Woodbridge residents to earn money. Youth Services provides an opportunity to learn about the interview process, safety on the job, and how to negotiate pay.

![Woodbridge Resident Frederick Miller Completes Intensive Research Project]()
Frederick Miller, a member of the class of 2023 majoring in Data Science and Mathematical Sciences at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), recently completed a senior thesis that is required of all graduating seniors as part of the university’s distinctive project-based educational experience.


Beth Heller presented a Woodbridge citation to Bethany resident Pua Ford who has been the Coordinator of the Woodbridge Government Access TV since 2003 and is retiring this month. Pua has kept Town government accessible and transparent to all Woodbridge residents.

Jude Arnott of Bethany, CT was awarded the Jim Sawyer Scholarship by Montserrat College of Art this spring despite the postponement of the annual Student Showcase Ceremony until next fall. Arnott is a member of Montserrat’s class of 2026.Montserrat’s Student Showcase recognizes and honors

Woodbridge has a newly elected Ms President US Woodbridge – Nita Sudhir! Nita bravely ran independently. She was excited to “develop leadership skills” and “help her town.” The determined fifth grader focused her platform on discouraging littering. She proposed posting signs to help the public
